My name is Robin Mueller. I am a writer. I write for games.
Big games and small games. Talky games and shooty games. Games with spots on. Games that go bump in the night. Even games that go fillump in the night. Don’t ask me to explain that. I don’t know how they make them fillump.
Sadly, I don’t know much about fillumping. Gladly, I know a lot more about writing. Lots of people don’t, which is why it usually gets neglected when games are put together. Here’s the thing: writing can make a game much better. And yes, that means the game will sell more…
Let me clarify. I don’t just mean the dialogue, or the mission briefings, or the storyline. A writer can help create worlds that players will never want to leave. A writer can help develop characters that players will love.
Games are moving forward, but people remain the same. Now more than ever, it is important for developers to understand their audience, and to make sure their games connect on as many levels as possible. That’s where I come in. A game needs a soul. A game needs a writer.
I hope you enjoy looking around. Please get in touch if you’d like to talk to me.
